Hey there!  Hi!  How are you?  It’s so nice to meet you! My name is Jeriney, and I’m new here.  I’m so excited to be a part of the KIOA family!

I JUST moved to Des Moines, from Kansas City, Missouri, with my boyfriend Aaron, Jones (our dog), and Handsome (my cat).  I’m a lover of all things music. I tried playing music but quickly realized that I’m really better at pushing ‘PLAY’ on the music of those with actual talent. Experiencing live music is one of my happy places!  Whether it’s a band in a bar that no one has ever heard of or a Broadway musical, I’m there!

I’m sure you’ll learn much more about me very soon, like my love of school mascots (I was one) and inability to do simple math, as I join Luke in the morning on KIOA.  I’m ready to learn all of the things I need to know about Des Moines and make lots of new friends along the way!
