Altoona: July 3 – Fireworks at 10 pm at Prairie Meadows.  July 4 – Fireworks at Adventureland Park about 9:40 pm.

Ames:  July 4 – Parade at 11 am on Main Street; July 5 – Fireworks at dusk at Iowa State University near Jack Trice Stadium.

Boone:  July 4 – Boone’s fireworks follow racing at the Boone Speedway.

Carlisle:  July 4 – Parade at 9:30 am, Fireworks 10 pm at North Park

Chariton: July 4 – Fireworks at Northwest Park at 10 pm.

Des Moines:   July 3 – Yankee Doodle Pops at Iowa State Capitol – Jazz in July at 6:30 pm, Des Moines Symphony performs at 8:30 pm, fireworks follow at dusk.

Earlham: July 4 – Freedom Fest with fireworks at dusk behind the ball field complex.

Grinnell: July 4 – Parade at 5 pm, fireworks at Ahrens Park at dusk.

Indianola:  July 4 – Fireworks at National Balloon Classic Field – 9:30 pm Nite Glow Balloons, 10 pm fireworks.

Marshalltown: July 4 – at Central Iowa Fairgrounds at dusk.

Milo: July 3 – 5 pm Kiddie parade, community projects meal and entertainment; July 4 – Events all day with parade at 11 am, fireworks display at dusk at Centennial Park.

Newton: July 4 – Fireworks at dusk at Agnes Patterson Park.

Nevada: July 4 – Parade 10 am; Fireworks at dusk at SCORE Park.

Norwalk:  July 4 – Parade 10 am.  Fireworks at dusk at McAninch Sports Complex.

Osceola: July 4 – Parade at 11 am.  Fireworks at dark at Terrible’s Lakeside Casino.

Pella: July 4 – Independence Day activities from 9:30 am to 11 pm.  Parade at 1:30 pm, fireworks display at 9:30 pm (by Madison School).

Perry: July 4 – 10 am parade on Willis Avenue. Entertainment, vendors, inflatables, games and entertainment at Pattee Park all day.  Fireworks follow at dusk.

Pleasantville: July 4 – Parade 11 am, family events throughout the day. Fireworks at dusk.

Roland: July 3 – Fireworks at dusk; rain date July 5.

Slater: July 3 – Carnival all day, fireworks at 10 pm; parade on July 4th at 10 am, carnival all day.

Urbandale: July 2-4 Carnival and events all day.  July 4 – Parade at 10 am; Fireworks at 10 pm at Walker Johnston Park.

Waukee: July 4 – Parade 2 pm at Vince Meyer Learning Center, Fireworks about 9:30 pm at Centennial Park.

West Des Moines:  July 3rd – Parade at 6:30 pm starting at Valley High School and going to Valley Junction.  July 4 – Fireworks at dusk at Raccoon River Park.

Windsor Heights: July 4 – Parade starts 1 pm at 73rd and Hickman to Colby Park.  Other family fun starting at 5 p.m.  Fireworks in Colby Park start at 10 pm.
