The Fall 2013 Public Night presentations will be held on Friday nights through October 25 at 8 p.m.  All programs presented by Herbert Schwartz & Dr. Charles Nelson, Dept. of Physics and Astronomy, Drake University. October 18: How dying stars create some of the mot beautiful objects in the sky.After a non-technical presentation on an astronomical topic of interest, visitors may view several stellar objects through the large refracting telescope & several smaller telescopes! Program held regardless of weather. Free to public; children must be accompanied by adult.
