- ½ C. soy sauce
- ¼ C. brown sugar
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- ¼ tsp. cracked pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 ½ lbs. top sirloin steak, cubed
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, ginger, pepper and garlic. Mix well.
- Put sauce and meat in large enough bowl so sauce will cover meat. Stir and let stand 2 hours at room temperature.
- Thread beef cubes on each of 4 skewers.
- Broil over hot coals 10 to 12 minutes, medium well. Turn often and baste.
