Teriyaki Kabobs

Ingredients

  • ½ C. soy sauce
  • ¼ C. brown sugar
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp. cracked pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 ½ lbs. top sirloin steak, cubed

Directions

  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, ginger, pepper and garlic. Mix well.
  • Put sauce and meat in large enough bowl so sauce will cover meat. Stir and let stand 2 hours at room temperature.
  • Thread beef cubes on each of 4 skewers.
  • Broil over hot coals 10 to 12 minutes, medium well. Turn often and baste.
