Grilled Mediterranean Burger


1 ½ lbs. ground beef

2 Tbsp. capers

2 Tbsp. kalamata olives, pitted and chopped

½ cup feta cheese crumbles

1 Tbsp. dried basil

1 Tbsp. dried oregano

2 Tbsp. garlic powder

1 cup bread crumbs


 Combine beef, capers, olives, feta cheese, seasonings, and bread crumbs in a large bowl.  Divide the mixture and shape into 4 patties.  Grill burgers about 6-8 minutes at medium-high heat, turning once after 5-7 minutes.  Spread hummus on top bun, place burger on bottom and serve.
