Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
- 1 small bag of dried cran-cherries (Ocean Spray in baking section)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in small bowl, set aside
- In large bowl, combine butter/margarine, sugar, brown sugar. Then beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture
- Stir in chocolate chips/chunks and cran-cherries
- Drop cookies onto cookie sheets with small or medium scooper or large tablespoon
- Bake 11 to 12 minutes. Cookies will be slightly soft. Do not over bake.
