Barbecue Sauce


1 ¼ cup Tassel Ridge 2008 Iowa St. Croix

½ cup beer

½ cup ketchup

¼ cup molasses

2 Tbsp soy sauce

2 Tbsp cider vinegar

1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp kosher salt


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25-35 minutes or until reduced to 1 cup. Serve with any grilled meat, but it pairs particularly well with beef. Makes 1 cup.
