All About Maxwell
Maxwell is celebrating 30 years in radio with more than 22 years "On-The-Air" in Des Moines! He is an avid hockey fan, having played in his youth, and manning the microphone as P.A. announcer for both the Des Moines Buccaneers and the Iowa Chops. His familiar voice and face also grace local, regional and national radio and TV advertising, and his passion for theater has been displayed as both actor and director at Stagewest Theater Company and the Playhouse in Des Moines. Maxwell feels "blessed" to be approaching 25 years of marriage to the love of his life, Karen, while his sons, Jon and Alex, provide a wealth of good family times! His avocations include singing and songwriting, gardening, home improvement projects, golf, an obsession with Science and History and a love of BBQ.
All About Pam
Pam is the newest member of the KIOA staff and while new to our airwaves she’s a familiar voice to central Iowans. A Des Moines native and Hoover High grad, Pam was formerly heard on KRNQ and KLYF in the 80's and 90's. Now, she brings her unique sense of humor and friendly style to the KIOA morning show and we are ecstatic to have her with us.
Over the years she’s been heard on countless radio and TV commercials and was the first woman to announce an I-Cubs game at Sec Taylor Stadium.
Pam and her daughter, Maddie, live in West Des Moines.
