Nirvana fans will have the chance to prove their devotion by having a free tattoo in honour of the band on Sept. 24.

Devotees in Long Beach, California; Seattle, Washington; and West Babylon, New York, can have the rockers’ squiggly smiley face logo inked to mark the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s third and final album In Utero.

Fans who purchase a new remastered version of “In Utero” or Nirvana’s “Live And Loud” concert DVD on Sept. 24 are being offered the design on a first-come, first-serve basis for eight hours.
