Patti LaBelle to appear on ‘American Horror Story’

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Patti LaBelle is joining the cast of “American Horror Story.”

The Hollywood Reporter reports she will play a woman living in Jupiter, Florida, in the 1950s near the last American freak show. She will find out the secrets of a clown killer.

LaBelle will not sing in the series.

“American Horror Story: Freak Show” debuts in October on fX.
