NEW YORK (AP) — CBS will show a two-hour special to mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles first appearing on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”

The special will be taped the day after the Grammys, with contemporary artists covering Beatles songs.

The special will air on Feb. 9, 50 years to the day since The Beatles appeared on “Sullivan.”
