Fans of rocker Billy Corgan have been given the opportunity to purchase his childhood home after the Illinois property was put up for sale.

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman alerted his Twitter.com followers to the availability of the four-bedroom Glendale Heights house on Monday, when he shared a link to the market listing and pinpointed the room he had grown up in.

He tweeted, “Want to buy house I grew up in? Pic 9 was the bedroom I shared with my brother”.

The property is on sale for $175,000.
