Dear KIOA Listeners,
How cool is it to hear Heather Burnside keeping my seat warm on KIOA while I’m hibernating? It’s a thrill for me as she’s one funny lady I’ve admired in this area for along time on radio and TV. I understand she’s got quite the little black book of local and national celebrities to talk with too (Aaron Rodgers, please?).
Anyway, enjoy Maxwell with Heather and know that I am home safe and warm concentrating on beating this cancer that continues to annoy me. I’m not going to lie. The last couple of weeks I have been really weak. But I’m almost there with TWO more chemo treatments to go! That definitely puts a little more fa-la-la in my heart! So thank you for your kindness shown in so many different ways and keep those prayers coming.
