Steve started rebuilding this car about 3 years ago with the reworking the dash and installing a dash pad and new bezel pieces and painting the metal a gray metallic. He then pulled the engine and tranny and rebuilt the 389. It is bored .060 over with mid range cam and hydraulic lifters, with 1998 ford explorer heads, added headers, then topped it off with a competition intake and holly 650 cfm. He also added disc brakes all around with a brake booster modification. Then he removed four paint jobs that it was carrying around with it and that is when one finds out how wavy the body really is. After a new set of door skins two qtr panels and much hammering with dolly, (she’s a nice girl) he put on a tri coat paint job. There are a few little things to do but that will get done in due time, maybe next year.
