1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

This nearly perfect 1969 Chevelle Super Sport was purchased in its present condition from Gateway Classic Cars in St. Louis by Janet and Patrick Meade in August of 2008. Patrick had the engine rebuilt only 5000 miles ago and now it runs like a dream.

Although some parts on this Chevelle are not original, the car is still a real head turner. The black and chrome with the original factory SS rims really make it sharp. The 396 cubic inch big block engine will set you back in your seat and empty your wallet at the same time. Very fun to drive.

Patrick and Janet enjoy taking “Chevy” to car shows and he always shows well. You can also find the Meade’s and “Chevy” driving in local town festival parades and he’s always a hit with both young and old alike. Nevada featured him on the thumbnail for their collection of pictures for the Lincoln Highway Days celebration on their website in 2008.
