1971 Ford Mustang Grande Coupe
Des Moines, IA

I purchased a little over a year ago.  The car was owned by a preacher in Texas.  Its a rust free car. Its a rare Mustang and we believe it the most forgotten Mustang. Reason I say that, is parts are hard to come by and you do not see the Grande Coupes out there.
Just some facts for you, the Grande was produced from 1969 until 1973, thats it.  Only 17,406 were manufactured that is why this is a rare Mustang. The engine is a 351 Cleveland. Automatic transmission. There has been engine upgrades and upgraded to Willwood front disc brakes. Custom hood, custom headers, custom exhuast and now my wife and I are getting ready to tackle the interior. There is nothing wrong with the existing interior just wanting to upgrade it to our liking. There was 2 engines the 351 Cleveland and the 351 Windsor, Our engine is the rare of the 2. Its the strongest of the 2 engines. All steel body. Vinyl roof 2 door.  Made in Dearborn Michigan. It a true Grande Mustang with no reported damage since it left the factory in 1971.  Its 1NICE71.
This car is in Memory of my Mother Margaret McIntosh whom we lost 2 years ago suddenly. Because of her passing I was able to purchase this car. So my wife and I drive it in her memory.
